Children's Ministries

Children are an important part of the life of Beymer Church. Not only are they our future, they are our present, here and now. Children participate in every aspect of Beymer worship, study, and fellowship.

Children's classes

Classes for children are available for ages 3 through 5th grade and grouped by age and development stage.

3 & 4 year olds - as a part of our nursery ministry, younger children enjoy a time of story reading and activities that engage them in the story.

K-3rd Grades - Kindergarteners and early elementary children. The class is taught by a team: Jan Wyatt and Mel Teague, Sandy Brown, and Rob & Cynthia Gibson

4th & 5th Grades - Older Elementary Children. The class is taught by Bill Clark.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School at Beymer is a huge event every summer. Led by a team of volunteers in the dozens, we host more than 50 children for a time of fun, music, crafts, and Bible stories presented in creative and fun ways. Click here to go the VBS page and see the dates and registration information.

Child Protection Policy

Beymer Memorial is dedicated to the protection of children. The church has adopted, along with other United Methodist Churches, a policy that helps to prevent child abuse, identify possible incidences of abuse, and a responsible and loving response to abuse, should it occur. For more information about the United Methodist Church's response to child abuse, go to http://www.gbod.org/ministries/family/safe/default.html. and Link to Conference  Ministry Protection
