Welcome Visitors

Everyone is welcome at Beymer Memorial, regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, or marital status. Beymer is a welcoming congregation for children and seniors alike. Our membership is multi-generational, multi-racial, and multi-ethnic.

Another way that Beymer welcomes all is our dress code. There isn't one! Come dressed as you are comfortable, just so long as you are indeed dressed.

Here is a typical Sunday morning:

8:00 am  - Casual service. We call it casual, not because of dress style, but because of worship style. The service is about 30 minutes long, consisting of singing, praying, and a meaningful message. The service takes place in the sanctuary from October through April, and on the Lake Howard Dock just across the street from May through September.

9:00 am - Sunday School - There are a variety of classes for children and adults. Everyone is welcome, especially if you are visiting on a Sunday. Don't be shy.

10:00 am - Fellowship time in the fellowship hall. Join the rest of the congregation for a time of coffee, juice, and light refreshments (usually home made) and good fellowship. This is an excellent way to meet folks in a friendly atmosphere.

10:30 am - Traditional Worship - Warm worship in the traditional Protestant style, with great music, a variety of vocal and instrumental choirs and soloists, and as always, a very meaningful message from our Pastor.

Saturday Nights: FUSION Worship     6:00 PM

Other Information that may be helpful:

  • There is a nursery and childcare for infants through age 4 during all services, Sunday School, and other events at the church. We have two very professional nursery workers teamed with trained volunteers who love the children and take very good care of them. The nursery is clean, safe, and fun. The nursery is located in Stradley Hall, with the church offices and classrooms. Click here to go to the nursery page.
  • There is ample parking all the way around the building. For your first visit, you may want to consider parking in the back parking lot and coming into the playground and center court yard. This is actually the back way in, but it gives you access to the offices, classrooms, the fellowship hall, and the back door to the sanctuary. You know the old saying, "Back door guests are best!"
  • Holy Communion is shared the first Sunday of each month at both services. If you are planning to visit, know that you are welcome to partake. You do not have to be a member of Beymer or of the United Methodist Church. We Methodists practice what is called an "open table." This isn't our table, it belongs to Christ, and he welcomes all who come in repentance and who desire a relationship with him. If you do not wish to partake, but wish to come to the altar for prayer, you are welcome to do so.
