Florida United Methodist Children's Home
Patty Muller, Beymer's LCR with Elizabeth Gadd, Director of Development, Florida United Methodist Children's Home
On Sunday, Elizabeth Gadd presented Beymer Memorial UMC with a certificate in recognition for being a Top 20 Giving Church for 2020 out of more than 600 churches in the Florida Conference. Beymer's total giving in 2020 was $76,869.21!
The money helped support the Equine Therapy Program at the Madison Youth Ranch and day-to-day programs. Elizabeth shared a few inspiring stories of youth in the program and also praised Patty for her work as Beymer's Local Church Representative (LCR). Patty does a wonderful job of promoting the Children's Home for our church with videos for Sunday services, posters, offering envelopes, flyers, etc. Continued support of the Children's Home helps ensure the children and families will have the necessary resources needed to succeed.
The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home was recently awarded EAGLE Accreditation by the EAGLE Accreditation Commission. Educational Assessment Guidelines Leading toward Excellence (EAGLE) is the only faith-based accreditation program in the United States and is managed by the United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries (UMA). More information on this accomplishment can be found on their website www.fumch.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/EAGLE-accreditation.pdf
