Food and Toy Drive

Family Emergency Services

December 13th

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 carloads of toys and food!!! Beymer kindly opened their hearts to bring joy to families in our community this season.

Thank you to those who added a bag of rice to your weekly shopping trip or picked up the Jenga game because you remembered how much fun you and your brother had playing it Christmas day. Thank you to those who brought in bags of food or found such pleasure in finding just the right toys to drop off. Thank you to those for the gift cards or monetary donations that allowed Nancy and volunteers to purchase additional needed items. Thank you to those who prayed for the givers, the volunteers, the children, the families and the church.

The children and their families will be blessed in many ways this Christmas because of the generosity of our congregation.

Beymer Friendship Club

December 14th

The Beymer Friendship Club has been providing a faith-based fellowship group for folks with intellectual disabilities for 20 years.

This year we have had to greatly reduce our in-person meetings, but we gathered for our annual Christmas party to make crafts and eat sweets. We enjoyed a rousing game of BINGO and got caught up with the events of one another’s lives.

Christmas is especially important to our group because we celebrate several birthdays and our friends love to make sure Pastor Rob’s birthday is part of the celebration!
