Come make a seed bomb, listen to a story, and help with the writing and signing of Beymer’s Earth Day Pledge to collect 1,000 pounds of plastic in a year!
How will this work?
You simply collect your plastic grocery bags, bread bags, bubble wrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, plastic shipping envelopes, Ziploc type bags, cereal bags, case overwrap, salt bags, pallet wrap, produce bags and the like and place them in our collection bins at the church entrances. That’s it!
Then after we collect 1,000 pounds (weighted in over the year) we receive a reward from TREX, a beautiful outdoor bench made from recycled plastics!
