Polk Ecumenical Action Council for Empowerment (PEACE) is a congregation-based community organization whose purpose is to build justice ministries and train members from diverse congregations to work together to identify root causes of community problems and to take action to resolve them.
We will gather on Sunday September 10th at 12 noon to discuss the following question:
What is one thing (or person) you are worried about?
What we hear from people at these house meetings will help to determine what new community problem P.E.A.C.E. will fight for in the coming year(s).
